So here we are…2010! It’s a crazy feeling to be here already cause I remember 2005 as it was yesterday! One thing is for sure though, with a new year comes new adventures and I am so excited to see what this year has to offer!

At the end of last year I had a show with my amazing musicians at a spot called KALK Brasserie&Grill in Malmö, Sweden. Had a great night and would like to thank everyone for coming out! Not only did I have the pleasure to do a radio show with some dope people, I also performed the same night - matter of fact….jumped in the taxi to go straight to sound-check from the radioshow. Is there ever a time in the life of music that you don’t stress everywhere?? I’m not complaining, just saying! I am very blessed to have these opportunities and I am loving every second of it!
My weekend in Stockholm actually gave me some extra time to spend with my family as well. Just have to say…HOW MUCH I LOVE MY FAMILY!!! They support to the maximum at all times wherever they are,all over the world! I had my loved ones listening to the radio show everywhere from Sweden to Atlanta and Los Angeles.
SO! Time to post some pictures from this amazing weekend and say THANK YOU  to all of you who listened to the radio interview and then later showed up to see the performance. (Special shoutout to Mary, Rasmus and David - you are all cool peoples!!, My man Georges and Wayne Beckford )

I’m happy to be home in Sweden again after being away for a minute. I had a beautiful Christmas in Atlanta with my family and a wonderful new years with friends in Los Angeles. Other than celebrating holidays here and there, I’ve been in Las Vegas, the Mexican riviera for my birthday(shoutouts to the person who made that happen!!) and all over California. I’ve had the time of my life the last two months and I’m so grateful to have met all the wonderful people on the way.

Some extra love goes out to Cynthia, José, Frank, Natalie, Alexandria, Doug, the whole Ghetto Rock family, the Walker family in ATL, Mike, Annica and Maciek in Vegas, Common for being so nice to my peoples and Talib Kweli for being Talib Kweli!:)

 

So now I’m ready to get back in the studio out here and record the first single for the album release later on this spring. Been working with the homeboy Mustodamus for about 2 years now and we are very happy with the tracks we’ve made for the album so far. There will be another DOPE producer involved with the project as well, that name will be announced on my blog soon so keep posted.
